7 Oaks Community History
Built in 1968, the name Seven Oaks was originally the name given to the farm located at Military Trail and Ellesmere Road. Over time the Scarborough area between Ellesmere and Highway 401 became known as Seven Oaks.

Community Website Guidelines
We want all neighbours to feel welcome, safe, and respected when using 7 Oakshomes.ca. For that reason, we have a set a Community Guidelines for 7 Oakshomes.ca describing what behaviours are – and are not – allowed. Everyone here is your neighbour. Please treat each other with respect.

Our mission is to provide a website where neighbours can connect with each other, and interact to share a stronger, safer, happier community. We will do our part to add information and advice on all real estate matters that happen in the neighbourhood.

Neilson and Ellesmere (North East Corner) Access Hub
The TTC is undergoing long-term, extensive changes to become more accessible across the entire system. Wheel-Trans is in the midst of a 10-year transformation strategy to integrate with the rest of the TTC. This includes new vehicles, upgraded technology, new policies, travel training, and Access Hubs.
Access Hubs are well-lit, heated shelters that provide customers with a comfortable place to wait for their transfers between Wheel-Trans and fixed-route transit. See details here.

Garbage Info:
Connect to the City of Toronto Website HERE regarding all garbage pickup info for residents who live in a house with day-time collection. If you live in house with daytime collection, your waste is collected on a specific day of the week based on where you live in the city. Green Bin organics are picked up every week while Blue Bin recycling and garbage are collected on alternating weeks.
